Our Stories in the Library
During their library lessons, the students complete literacy activities based on titles suggested throughout the COGs unit, plus other related titles. The majority of these activities are in the form of worksheets, which are collected in each student's individual library folder. At the conclusion of the unit, these worksheets are collated for marking.
The main assessment task for the unit involves the making of a book, based on a simple family story of each student's choice. This task will take approximately 5 lessons. The completed stories will be collated into a book that will be officially "launched" and made available for borrowing.
