What are we going to learn?
This unit is called "Me." We are going to read lots of stories about different people and animals. We are going to look at what the characters in the stories like and don't like. We are going to look at what the characters in the stories do. We are going to look at different families and read about what they like to do together. We are also going to read some Dreaming stories. When we read each story, we are going to talk about what we liked and didn't like in the story. We are also going to think about how we are similar or different to the characters.
By the end of this unit, you will also know some important rules about the library. You will learn how to choose a book, how to borrow it and how to look after it.

1. In the Library - this worksheet will show you all the library rules. You should follow these rules whenever you are in the library.
2. How to Look after a Library Book - this worksheet will show you how to look after a book so that it stays neat and clean and ready for someone else to borrow it.
3. Using a shelf marker - this worksheet shows you how to choose a book from the shelf and put it back in the same place when you have finished with it.
4. I am Too Absolutely Small for School - After listening to this story, write and draw about a favourite activity at school.

6. How the Kangaroos Got their Tails - Decorate the paddle pop stick to create a tail for the Kangaroo and add it to the worksheet.
7. My Mob Going to the Beach - Draw your own mob. How is your mob the same and different to the mob in the story? Write down something you and your mob like to do together.
